Getting Published - April 14th Panel Discussion

The Graduate Center invites you to attend our Spring 2017 Getting Published Panel Discussion.

You are invited to an interdisciplinary panel discussion about academic writing and publishing. All of the panelists have served as journal editors. They will share their insights on effective writing, on the publication process, and on strategies for getting your work in print.


  • Monica Casper, Associate Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Professor, Gender & Women’s Studies
  • Nicholas Delamere, Department Head and Professor, Physiology
  • Marc Miller, Dean and Professor, College of Law
  • Tricia Serio, Department Head and Professor, Molecular and Cellular Biology

The panel discussion is free and open to the public and will be in the Student Union Ventana Room from 4:30 - 5:30 PM on April 14, 2017. Following the panel discussion, light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
