The ultimate goal of the 14 GIDPs is to provide graduate students with a gateway to an excelling cadre of scientists and educators at the University of Arizona who, through interdisciplinary training, are developing new and imaginative methods of teaching and research and advancing new fields of endeavor. As news breaking research advances so does the focus of GIDPs.
