2016-2017 Carter Travel Award Recipients

Herbert E. Carter, Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and Biophysics was a Founding Director of the Graduate Interdisciplinary Programs‚Äč at The University of Arizona. The Carter Travel Award Program was established in honor of his spirit and passion for interdisciplinary scholarship and research in higher education. The award provides up to $600 per year to GIDP students for national or international travel to a professional meeting. This year, we were able to award 26 students!
